First off, thanks so much for checking out TunedIn!

My name is Dave Brown and I'm the guy behind this thing. TunedIn is the inadvertent product of 30 + years of getting creative as I could be to earn a living as a musician, primarily as a professional musician and educator. I've pretty much seen it all from cruise ships to bar rooms, from teaching out of stuffy closets, to coaching ensembles as adjunct faculty and creating courses and transcribing others for Jamplay.com (RIP 🙏).

Throughout the decades, I've tried to keep as modern as possible, both with how I ran my school, as well as how I managed digital materials for my students. I've had to learn a lot of software over the years and I can't tell you how many times I've spent 45 min + learning a system in order to realize it doesn't do something I really need and I'm right back at square one.

Long story short, I've always wanted to create something like this, but wasn't really able to do anything about it till now. When I started back in September of 2025, it was basically just meant to be a decent practice app, but then I kept getting greedy as I threw my entire wishlist at the thing till it became what it is now in its current incarnation as its enivitable growth continues and I gotta say - I actually love using my own app.

I sincerely hope enjoy TunedIn,
Dave
